Media Advisory - Official Opening and Groundbreaking at Key Waterfront Site
TORONTO, Aug. 27, 2012 /CNW/ - In a dual celebration, Waterfront Toronto and Harbourfront Centre will break ground on a series of vibrant new public spaces on a former asphalt parking lot in Toronto's central waterfront. Designed by renowned landscape architects Michael Van Valkenburgh and Associates, these new public spaces were made possible by the construction of a new underground parking facility, which will also be officially opened as part of the celebration.
