Media Advisory - On the International Children's Day, Legal Action Against Children's Aid Society of Toronto Announced

TORONTO, Nov. 19, 2018 /CNW/ - Former mayoral candidate and human rights lawyer Saron Gebresellassi will hold a press conference tomorrow (Tuesday) November 20^th, 2018, the United Nations Universal Children's Day, at 9:30am to announce a Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario claim against Children's Aid Society of Toronto. The case is brought forward on the heels of the Premier Ford's announcement of the repeal of the Provincial Advocate for Children and Youth Act and the launch of a subversive social media campaign of current and former staff, advocates, former crown wards, and 'whistleblowers' aimed at sharing the experiences of racism and anti-Black racism within the agency.
