Media Advisory - ONA President in Sarnia This Afternoon: Linda Haslam-Stroud to picket with striking CCAC Health Professionals
SARNIA, ON, Feb. 10, 2015 /CNW/ - The President of the Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) will be in Sarnia this afternoon. Linda Haslam-Stroud to join striking CCAC workers on the picket lines.
While in Sarnia, Haslam-Stroud is available for media interviews.
She will be on the picket lines at Sarnia City Hall at 2:30 pm. The CCAC workers have been on strike since January 30.
ONA is the union representing 60,000 nurse practitioners, registered nurses and allied health professionals, as well as more than 14,000 nursing student affiliates providing care in hospitals, long-term care facilities, public health, the community, clinics and industry.
