Media Advisory - ONA President to Join Striking CCAC Health Professionals on the Picket Lines in London Today
LONDON, ON, Feb. 9, 2015 /CNW/ - The President of the Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) is joining striking South West CCAC health professionals on the picket lines in London today.
Linda Haslam-Stroud, RN will walk with the care coordinators and health professionals at the West London CCAC office at 10 o'clock this morning. She is available for media interviews.
The South West CCAC workers have been on strike since January 30.
ONA is the union representing 60,000 nurse practitioners, registered nurses and allied health professionals, as well as more than 14,000 nursing student affiliates providing care in hospitals, long-term care facilities, public health, the community, clinics and industry.
