MEDIA ADVISORY - ONTARIO ECONOMIC SUMMIT FOCUSES ON RECOVERY AND FUTURE
GROWTH
NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ONTO, Nov. 1 /CNW/ - Over 150 invited leaders from across the province will come together in Niagara-on-the-Lake for the 2010 Ontario Economic Summit (OES) to discuss ways in which Ontario can map a path that will lead Ontario to post-recessionary growth and a stronger future.
The leaders of business, labour, academia, non-governmental organizations and government will examine topics including transportation, innovation, smart regulation and 21st century workforce strategies.
The seventh annual OES, Chaired by Peter Galanis, President and CEO of Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Co. and Réal (Ray) Tanguay, Chairman of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc., is a strategic initiative of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) that stimulates discussion and collaborative action among its participants to move Ontario's economy forward.
