MEDIA ADVISORY - Ontario Energy Board Coming to Port Colborne and Gananoque to Hear From Consumers Français
TORONTO, Aug. 31, 2016 /CNW/ - The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is bringing the rate decision-making process to Port Colborne and Gananoque. The province's energy regulator has received a five-year rate application from Canadian Niagara Power Inc./Eastern Ontario Power that may change rates beginning January 1, 2017. The OEB is hosting public meetings to help consumers:
- Learn more about Canadian Niagara Power Inc./Eastern Ontario Power's costs and rate application;
- Find out how they can get involved in the OEB's process; and
- Provide their comments to the OEB about Canadian Niagara Power Inc./Eastern Ontario Power's application.
For Fort Erie and Port Colborne Customers
When: Tuesday September 13, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6 p.m.)
Where: Vale Health and Wellness Centre, Golden Puck Room, 550 Elizabeth St., Port Colborne, Ontario
For Gananoque Customers
When: Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6 p.m.)
Where: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 92, 55 King St. E., Gananoque, Ontario
