TORONTO, Sept. 29, 2016 /CNW/ - The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is bringing the rate decision-making process to Renfrew. The province's energy regulator has received a rate application from Renfrew Hydro Inc. to increase the amount it charges by $3.19 each month for the typical residential customer beginning on January 1, 2017. The OEB is holding a community meeting to help consumers:
- Learn more about Renfrew Hydro Inc.'s costs and rate application;
- Find out how they can get involved in the OEB's process; and
- Provide their comments to the OEB about Renfrew Hydro Inc.'s application.
When: Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6 p.m.)
Where: Renfrew Days Inn, 760 Gibbons Road, Renfrew, Ontario
