Media Advisory - Ontario Energy Board Coming to Thunder Bay to Hear From Consumers

TORONTO, Nov. 17, 2016 /CNW/ - The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is bringing the rate decision-making process to Thunder Bay. The province's energy regulator has received a rate application from Thunder Bay Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc. to increase its electricity distribution rates by $4.71 per month.  This application may impact your bill for the next 5 years, starting May 1, 2017. The OEB is holding a community meeting to help consumers:

• Learn more about Thunder Bay Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc.'s costs and rate application;
  
  
• Find out how they can get involved in the OEB's distribution rate-setting process; and
  
  
• Provide their comments to the OEB about Thunder Bay Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc.'s application.

When:	Wednesday, November 23, 2016
	6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6:00 p.m.)
Where:	Oliver Road Community Centre
	563 Oliver Road (Main Hall)
