Media Advisory - Ontario Medical Association president to comment on budget

TORONTO, April 23, 2015 /CNW/ - Dr. Ved Tandan, President of the Ontario Medical Association, is available for comment following the release of the provincial budget this afternoon at Queen's Park.

During the pre-budget consultations, Ontario's doctors delivered a strong message that one of the building blocks of a healthy economy is a healthy population. During the meetings, Ontario's doctors called on the Government of Ontario to fulfill its obligation and responsibility to Ontarians and fund the unmet needs of our current population and the natural growth to provide care to our aging and growing population.
