OTTAWA, March 14 /CNW Telbec/ - Ontario's Minister of Education, the Honorable Leona Dombrowsky, will be the guest speaker at the 2010 Policy Convention of the Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens (AEFO), being held in Ottawa, until Tuesday, March 16.
Where: Ballroom, Lower Level Crowne Plaza Hotel 101 Lyon Street, Ottawa When: Monday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m.
Following her address, the Minister will answer questions from the 200 delegates from across the province attending the four-day event.
Early in the day, AEFO will pay tribute to two of its members for their exceptional commitment to Franco-Ontarian education and to their professional association.
AEFO will also officially launch its Books for Haiti campaign.
AEFO represents 9,500 teachers and education workers in Ontario's French-language elementary and secondary schools, both Catholic and public, and workers in other French-language establishments.
