WHAT:
On Friday, November 19, 2010 The Honourable Rick Bartolucci, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing will address delegates at the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association (ONPHA) Annual Conference & Tradeshow.
The three day ONPHA Conference (Nov 19-21) brings together over 1300 delegates from the affordable housing sector, including landlords, tenants and government representatives to discuss a wide variety of topics, including: social and supportive housing, housing-related economic issues, and social housing administration.
For over 20 years, ONPHA has been the voice of non-profit housing in Ontario. Our 756 member organizations operate more than 160,000 non‐profit housing units and provide housing for approximately 400,000 people such as the elderly, low‐income families with children, the working poor, victims of violence and abuse, people living with developmental disabilities or mental illness, addictions, HIV/AIDS and the homeless/hard‐to‐house.
