Canada's largest social housing conference unites sector leaders around innovative
housing and community development solutions

WHAT:
The annual Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association (ONPHA) Conference & Tradeshow begins on Friday, November 19, 2010. Over 1,300 representatives from Ontario's affordable housing sector will gather next week for this three day event, featuring over 85 conference workshop events and a tradeshow with over 75 exhibitors.
The conference brings together business leaders, landlords, tenants and government representatives to discuss a wide variety of topics, including:
- Social and Supportive Housing Issues: homelessness, housing people with concurrent disorders, Ontario's Long-Term Affordable Housing Strategy, community development and green leadership.
- Economic Issues: Social enterprise, poverty reduction, and efficient asset management.
- Administrative Issues: building administration, maintenance, and energy efficiency.

A roster of high profile and qualified speakers will be in attendance, including:
- The Honourable Rick Bartolucci, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
