Media Advisory - Ontario Nurses' Association President, First Vice-President Picketing with Striking CCAC Workers in Perth, Brockville and Oshawa Today
TORONTO, Feb. 5, 2015 /CNW/ - Ontario Nurses' Association President Linda Haslam-Stroud, RN, and First Vice-President Vicki McKenna, RN, will be supporting striking Community Care Access Centre health professionals on picket lines in Perth, Brockville, Cobourg and Oshawa today.
The leaders are available to speak to the media as they walk the picket lines with the ONA members. Details of where the leaders will be are listed below.
ONA is the union representing 60,000 nurse practitioners, registered nurses and allied health professionals, as well as more than 14,000 nursing student affiliates providing care in hospitals, long-term care facilities, public health, the community, clinics and industry.
