Media Advisory - Ontario Police Chiefs to Launch New Inspection/Enforcement Program to Promote Compliance with Liquor Licences
TORONTO, Aug. 22, 2012 /CNW/ - The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) will hold a joint news conference with Toronto Police Service and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to launch a new bi-annual alcohol licence inspection/enforcement program. This program will be implemented by police services across the Province every fall and spring.

Under this new program, the OACP will promote a coordinated approach to liquor licence inspections and enforcement by Ontario police services. This will include a blitz by police services during the next few weeks focused on compliance by licenced establishments with alcohol licence as students return to college and university.
