ORILLIA, ON, March 2, 2015 /CNW/ - Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will help launch its annual Fraud Prevention Month public education campaign by hosting a media conference.
OPP Deputy Commissioner Scott TOD and RCMP Inspector Cameron MILLER from the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre will provide brief remarks and answer questions on the latest criminal trends and many harmful aspects of fraud and victimization. There will also be a brief presentation regarding fraud investigations involving the security of vulnerable persons, including seniors.
One-on-one interviews will be available to attending media following the formal media conference including access to specific subject matter experts from the OPP Anti-Rackets Branch and OPP Community Safety Services.
