MEDIA ADVISORY - Ontario Students to mark National Student Day of Action through protests and local events in 13 cities

TORONTO, Jan. 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Students will hit the streets on February 1 to demand that the Liberal government apply money that it has dedicated to a new grant scheme to reducing tuition fees for all students. This call is part of the National Student Day of Action where tens of thousands of students are expected to protest across Canada.

A press conference will be held in Toronto tomorrow, outlining the concerns and events that will happen in Windsor, London, Hamilton, Guelph, Mississauga, Toronto, Scarborough, Peterborough, Kingston, Ottawa, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay, on February 1.
