Media Advisory - Ontario to Unveil Proposed Concept Design for New Park and Trail at Ontario Place Français
TORONTO, Jan. 21, 2014 /CNW/ - Morah Fenning, Assistant Deputy Minister, Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, along with Chris Glaisek, VP Planning and Design, Waterfront Toronto, and other representatives of the park and trail project team, will hold a media briefing on the proposed concept design for the new urban park and waterfront trail. Designers Walter Kehm and Patrick G. Morello, representing the design teams of LANDinc and West 8, will present the proposed concept design.
Representatives will be available to answer technical questions following the presentation.

Media are also invited to attend the second public meeting in the evening, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the same location. Presentations begin at 6:30 p.m.
The project team will present the proposed concept design and seek further input and feedback from people across Ontario. This feedback will inform the environmental assessment and will continue to help shape the design. The developed design will be presented in the spring for public input, before the final design is unveiled later this year.
The park and trail is the first step of revitalization and delivers on an important part of the new vision for Ontario Place — to create a vibrant green space and waterfront destination.
