Canadian media invited to capture the excitement of the biggest retail day of the year
MONTREAL, Dec. 21, 2016 /CNW/ - This Boxing Day (December 26), Best Buy is thrilled to offer Canadian media the opportunity to easily capture the excitement of the biggest retail day of the year with its annual open media policy. For one-day only (December 26), instead of seeking advance permission to capture visuals of customers lining up and nabbing the hottest deals, media can walk into any Best Buy store and simply ask to speak with a store manager.
The majority of Best Buy stores across Quebec open at 1:00 p.m. on December 26, but the Best Buy Ste-Catherine street location and the one in Gatineau will open their doors at 8:00 a.m., with line-ups of eager shoppers – keen to secure the in-store door-crasher deals – expected well before then. Online, the Boxing Day deals will kick off on December 24 at 7:00 p.m. EST on BestBuy.ca.
