MEDIA ADVISORY - Opening of Innovative New Waterfront Park

TORONTO, Sept. 22 /CNW/ - Waterfront Toronto will officially open Sherbourne Common South, the waterfront's next great park on Friday, September 24. More than a beautiful new park, Sherbourne Common is also the first park in Canada to integrate a neighbourhood-wide stormwater treatment facility in its design.

	Entrance to the park is located on the south side of Queens Quay Boulevard, just east of Lower Sherbourne Street.
	There will be limited reserved parking for media available at the park, on the south side of Queens Quay across from Bonnycastle Street. Waterfront Toronto representatives will be at the park entrance to help facilitate media parking.
