Media Advisory - Opening of Mimico Waterfront Park
TORONTO, Oct. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - Waterfront Toronto and its government partners will officially open the final phase of Mimico Waterfront Park on October 29 at 1pm. Mimico Waterfront Park provides the missing link in the city's waterfront trail system and connects the community to the waterfront in an area that historically lacked access.
The final phase of construction has transformed the shoreline and created an additional 500 metres of much-needed park space. The park now offers 1.1 kilometres of continuous waterfront park between Norris Crescent Parkette and Humber Bay Park West.
