MONTREAL, Sept. 25, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - As part of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships presented at the Olympic Stadium from October 2nd to 8th, the Organizing Committee is inviting the media to a press conference that will officially kick off the international competition at noon, on Sunday, October 1 at Montréal's Olympic Park Tower, 3200 Viau Street.
Mr. Morinari Watanabe, President of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) will be in attendance, as well as Mr. Richard Crépin, President of the Organizing Committee, who will present the highlights of the week of competitions, Ms. Nadia Comaneci, queen of the 1976 Montréal Olympic Games, Mr. Kyle Shewfelt, ambassador for the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), and the artist who created the medals for the Championships, Mr. Jean‑Philippe Caron from the company Protocole – trophées d'exception, who will unveil his creations.
