Premier Dalton McGuinty will be speaking at this annual golf tournament Liberal Party fundraiser as OPSEU members protest the government's public sector wage cuts, public service underfunding and corporate tax giveaways.
Date: | Thursday, August 19 |
Time: | 6 a.m. - 10 a.m. |
Location: |
GreyHawk Golf Club 4999 Boundary Rd. Cumberland, ON |
This is the thirteenth protest held by OPSEU at Liberal Party fundraisers across Ontario since the release of the 2010 Provincial Budget.
Donations will be accepted for the Champions for Children Foundation of the Children's Aid Society of Ottawa. While all funds go towards providing school supplies for children in need, this fundraising effort serves to highlight the cuts being made to important public services.
