Media Advisory - OSC in the Community Hosts 'Protect Your Money' In Toronto
TORONTO, Feb. 25, 2014 /CNW/ - As part of its 'OSC in the Community' investor outreach program, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) will be in Toronto on February 26, 2014 to host 'Protect Your Money', a free interactive seminar on fraud prevention and working with a financial advisor.
The session will feature senior-level OSC speakers discussing the latest investment frauds and scams and providing information on how investors can protect their hard-earned money. Speakers will answer questions from Toronto investors about financial issues that matter to them.
*Media are invited to attend the entire event and interview OSC spokespeople in advance of the seminar (6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).
