OTTAWA, May 16, 2014 /CNW/ - The nation's capital will host the 2014 CVCA- Canada's Venture Capital and Private Equity Association's Annual Conference from May 20-22 at the Westin Ottawa.  This year marks the 40^th anniversary of the CVCA and the conference features an impressive list of business leaders and industry key influencers.

Venture Capital and Private Equity make a significant contribution to Canadian economy.  In 2013, more than $14 billion in venture capital and private equity was invested in Canadian companies. Each year, CVCA members help build companies that excel in terms of revenue growth, high skilled job creation and shareholder return.
