Media Advisory - Over 500 Cabbies to Address City Committee on New Drivers-Only Licence
TORONTO, Jan. 22, 2014 /CNW/ - Over 500 taxi drivers are registered to speak Thursday at the City of Toronto's Municipal Licensing and Standards Committee on a new taxi licensing framework that would overhaul the industry by transferring taxi ownership to drivers.
Representatives of the taxi drivers also will be available to speak to media at City Hall, from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
