Media Advisory - Panel of experts to give Quebec students a lesson in online privacy at launch of Media Literacy Week 2012 Français
OTTAWA, Oct. 31, 2012 /CNW/ - High school students across Quebec will have the chance to talk to a panel of experts about their online privacy concerns. Hosted by Laurier Macdonald High School in Montreal, the panel discussion will involve students from 33 schools across the province. The event will launch the seventh annual Media Literacy Week, hosted by MediaSmarts and the Canadian Teachers' Federation (CTF). This year's theme - Privacy Matters - shines a spotlight on the skills and knowledge that young people need to protect their online privacy.
