Media Advisory - Patient group discusses benefits of Canada-EU trade deal for Canadian patients
OTTAWA, Oct. 17, 2013 /CNW/ - The Mood Disorders Society of Canada is encouraged that Canada and the European Union are moving to finalize a trade agreement that promises to help improve mental health care for Canadian patients.
The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) provides an opportunity to strengthen Canada's intellectual property regime, ensuring continued research and innovation in medicines for all Canadians, including those living with mental illness.
Phil Upshall, Executive Director of the Mood Disorders Society of Canada, is available to discuss the organization's perspective on CETA.
