OTTAWA, July 11, 2016 /CNW/ - On the steps at Parliament Hill, Swimming Canada and the Canadian Paralympic Committee will present the 22 para-swimmers from across the country who have been nominated to represent Canada at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games this September.
The para-swimmers will also receive their Paralympic rings, a Swimming Canada tradition, from the Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities.
Media are invited to film and photograph the ring presentation ceremony and interview participants at the conclusion of the ceremony.
