Fall Drive behind on goals with less than week to go
WHAT: Fall Drive Public Sorting GOAL: 500,000 lbs and $500,000 Approximately 400 volunteers will be in today packing and sorting food donations at Daily Bread Food Bank. As of last count, Daily Bread is far behind its goal with only 195,000 lbs and $145,000 raised and less than a week left in the Fall Drive. We are asking people to be as generous as possible so that Daily Bread can reach its Fall Drive goal by October 17th. Note: Daily Bread is fully booked for public sorting. No volunteers are required. WHEN: Monday, October 12, 2009 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. WHERE: Daily Bread Food Bank 191 New Toronto Street (Off Islington, north of Lakeshore)
