weekend at Daily Bread

WHAT:	Fall Drive Public Food Sorts Over 500 volunteers will be packing and sorting food donations this weekend at Daily Bread Food Bank. As of Thursday, October 7 the Fall Drive had raised $135,000 and 225,000 pounds of food which is less than half of what Daily Bread hopes to raise by October 18. Updated food and fundraising numbers will be available at the Public Food Sorts this weekend. On Thanksgiving Monday, mayoral candidates George Smitherman and Rocco Rossi will be giving back to the community by volunteering their time sorting food donations in the afternoon from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
