Media Advisory - Photo/Interview Opportunity - Open Streets TO 2015 Final Program Date
TORONTO, Sept. 4, 2015 /CNW/ - Join event organizers, participants, and community leaders at Open Streets TO 2015.
Open Streets TO, inspired by a world-class program proven to improve healthy behaviour, will be taking place again on September 6, 2015. The program repurposes existing public assets - namely our iconic streets - and provides access to free recreation space (on parts of Bloor and Yonge), focusing attention on the importance of physical activity. New to this Sunday's program is the extension of the route by 1km (to Christie St.) and the addition of two new activity hubs. In 2014, more than 45,000 Torontonians attended over two days.
Spokespeople will be available for interviews.
