Media advisory - Police community unites for public safety
OTTAWA, May 4 /CNW Telbec/ - On Thursday, May 6, 2010, the three national police organizations will unite in the name of public safety.
The Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (President: William Blair, Toronto Police Service), the Canadian Police Association (President: Charles Momy) and the Canadian Association of Police Boards (Director: Carol Allison-Burra, Chair, Kingston Police Services Board) will announce the latest steps in their campaign to save the Firearms Registry.
Together, the CACP, the CPA and the CAPB represent police leaders, frontline police personnel, and police oversight boards from across Canada.
Participants will be available for interviews after the event.
