CUPW will deliver over 10,000 postcards protesting the failure of Lisa Raitt, Minister responsible for Canada Post, to consult with the public on a postal charter review and the sweeping changes announced by Canada Post and endorsed by the federal government on December 11, 2013.

The 5th anniversary of the 2009 Canadian Postal Service Charter, which promises a review of the Charter every five years. Postal workers and supporters want to know why the Conservatives couldn't wait for the Charter review, a public and accountable consultation process, before rushing to gut public postal services. |
