RICHMOND, BC, July 6, 2012 /CNW/ - River Rock Casino Resort is proud to announce that Jerry Springer - host of THE PRICE IS RIGHT LIVE - will hold a special press conference on Wednesday, July 11^th at the River Rock Show Theatre starting at 3:00 PM.

This is the first time that Springer will host the live stage show in Canada and is excited about the opportunity to be in British Columbia. His hosting duties will begin on July 12^th as the first THE PRICE IS RIGHT LIVE show hits the River Rock Show Theatre stage.

Throughout an illustrious career, Springer has not only hosted the nationally syndicated television talk show, The Jerry Springer Show for over twenty years but has also been the mayor of Cincinnati and an Emmy Award-winning newscaster. In addition, Springer was a competitor on Season 3 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars in 2006 where he finished in the top five.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT LIVE will run from July 12^th to 21^st at the River Rock Casino Resort and at Boulevard Casino's Red Robinson Show Theatre in Coquitlam, BC from July 26^th to 29^th.
