Media Advisory - Press conference to announce Private Member's Bill to formally recognize Nurse Practitioner (NP) Week in Ontario

TORONTO, Nov. 14, 2016 /CNW/ - MPP France Gélinas (Nickel Belt) will host a press conference to highlight the introduction of a New Private Member's Bill.  The Bill would designate the second week of November as "Nurse Practitioner Week" in Ontario.  The legislation is intended to honour the dedication and unique contributions of over 3,000 Nurse Practitioners working across the province.  These NPs provide health care to more than 4 million Ontario patients annually, many of whom live in under-serviced areas.
