TORONTO
,
Dec. 10
/CNW/ - You are invited to join us: On
Friday December 11th
at
8:00am
, Toys"R"Us (
1154 West
Broadway
Vancouver
) will generously open their doors one hour early for Brienna Deforge, a 7-year-old suffering from Leukemia, for a once in a life time celebration. Brienna's wish is sponsored by Vancouver-based Barclay Restorations. Representatives from The Children's Wish Foundation and from Barclay Restorations will be in attendance to provide Brienna with her choice of toys from Toys"R"Us. Brienna loves everything princess so it's fitting that her most heartfelt wish is to be a princess for a day. On the 11th, it is her turn to feel like a princess. Brienna, her mother and brother, along with two friends, will arrive in style in a Limousine, kindly donated by Griffin Transportation Services. As her birthday is the following day, Brienna will be surprised with a dress fit for a princess and a princess ice cream cake (her favorite) to celebrate with her friends, family, Children's Wish, Barclay Restorations and Toys"R"Us staff.
Media are invited to join the birthday celebration at Toys"R"Us.

The Children's Wish Foundation of
Canada
Each year, thousands of Canadian children between the ages of 3 and 17 are diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Since 1984, The Children's Wish Foundation of
Canada
has worked tirelessly to grant exceptional wishes to 15,000 children and their families.
This year, the Foundation expects to grant 1,000 new wishes as it commemorates 25 years of service across
Canada
. The Foundation has never refused a wish to an eligible child, and with the help of volunteers and generous donors, is able to grant nearly three wishes every day. Each wish is an individual adventure, carefully structured to meet the needs of a particular child and family.
The Foundation is a grassroots charity with chapters in every province and territory. For information on Children's Wish, log onto www.childrenswish.ca.
