Media Advisory - Prof. Ron Kneebone to propose 10-year plan to end Alberta's addiction to resource revenues
CALGARY, March 1, 2013 /CNW/ - The upcoming Alberta budget is expected to reveal a major provincial deficit. And while it is easy to pick apart government decisions leading to this fiscal mess, it is more difficult to construct a practical long-term plan for ensuring this does not happen again.
Professor Ron Kneebone of The School of Public Policy has created a 10-year fiscal plan for Alberta to wean itself off of volatile resource revenues and get its finances back on track. He will release this plan at an upcoming media conference.
