Media Advisory - Prostate Cancer Canada celebrates local hero
Wake Up Call Breakfast shines a spotlight on distinguished individuals in the fight against prostate cancer
EDMONTON, April 9, 2012 /CNW/ - Please join Prostate Cancer Canada in partnership with Campaign for Prostate Health and members of the Edmonton business community as we celebrate a local hero who has made an extraordinary contribution in the fight against prostate cancer through courage, inspiration and dedication.
Irv Kipnes will be honoured on April 10 at the annual Wake Up Call Breakfast where he will share his personal story of battling and overcoming prostate cancer. The Wake Up Call Breakfast is the only Canada-wide business breakfast series dedicated to the fight against prostate cancer. Over the past decade the event has attracted more than 16,000 business professionals and raised nearly $1.9 million for prostate cancer research, awareness, support and advocacy.
