Wake Up Call Breakfast shines a spotlight on distinguished individuals in the fight against prostate cancer

CALGARY, April 10, 2012 /CNW/ - Please join Prostate Cancer Canada and members of the Calgary business community as we celebrate a local hero who has made an extraordinary contribution in the fight against prostate cancer through courage, inspiration and dedication.

Local survivor Bob Shiell will be honoured on April 11 at the annual Wake Up Call Breakfast where he will share his personal story of battling and overcoming prostate cancer.

The Wake Up Call Breakfast is the only Canada-wide business breakfast series dedicated to the fight against prostate cancer. Over the past decade the event has attracted more than 16,000 business professionals and raised nearly $1.9 million for prostate cancer research, awareness, support and advocacy.
