Media Advisory - Protest planned June 5 outside Liberal party AGM in Collingwood
TORONTO, June 4, 2015 /CNW/ - Protesters, including many OPSEU members from across the province, will converge June 5 on Collingwood to demonstrate against the provincial government's plan to sell off Hydro One and its agenda to privatize more public services and public assets.
The protest and information rally will coincide with the start of the provincial Liberal party's annual general meeting taking place this weekend in the Georgian Bay community.
OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas is among several speakers scheduled to address the protesters.
