Media advisory - Public consultation on the development of the Plateau-Est employment sector

MONTRÉAL, Dec. 2, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend a public forum to be held on Saturday, December 6, as part of the public consultation on development of the Plateau-Est employment sector, organized by the Office de consultation publique de Montréal. Different scenarios, arising from previous meetings with community group representatives, economic stakeholders and representatives of local institutions, will be presented to citizens during the forum. A 3D model will allow citizens to learn about— and discuss—proposed scenarios using augmented reality technologies. Thanks to virtual reality glasses, they will be able to "move around" in the newly created virtual space.

A panel of experts will allow participants to better understand the dynamics of the Plateau-Est employment sector and urban development possibilities in light of current issues.
