MEDIA ADVISORY - Public Event Marking Jack Mintz' Career - Guest Hon. Rona Ambrose
CALGARY, June 30, 2015 /CNW/ - In 2007, The School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary was founded under the leadership of Jack Mintz. His vision was to use excellence in research to bridge the gap between business, government and academia and ultimately to get public policy right in Canada.
On July 2nd, The School of Public Policy and the University of Calgary will hold a special reception and presentation to recognize Jack's appointment as "President's Fellow", and retirement as Director of The School.
This event will include remarks by distinguished members of the communities that Jack has impacted during his career. Special guests in attendance will also include Minister Rona Ambrose.
