Media Advisory - Public Health Ontario to conduct telebriefing on influenza, respiratory viruses
TORONTO, Oct. 28, 2013 /CNW/ - Media are invited to join Public Health Ontario (PHO) experts on Friday, November 1, 2013 for a webinar and telebriefing about trends and current information related to influenza and other respiratory viruses.
The session will highlight PHO's work in testing, surveillance, monitoring, detection and management, in collaboration with health care sector partners across Canada. The briefing will address issues that PHO is consulted on by the media throughout the influenza season. Speakers will provide the latest statistics, evidence and trends related to the prevention and control of influenza and emerging respiratory viruses.
