Media Advisory - PwC to reveal findings of annual BC Mining Industry Survey at news conference May 15
VANCOUVER, May 11, 2012 /CNW/ - PwC will present highlights of its latest annual BC Mining Industry Survey at a news conference for media and industry representatives on Tuesday May 15 as part of BC Mining Week. The PwC survey examines the 2011 aggregate year-over-year financial performance of the province's metal and coal mining operations, mines in the permitted or active permitting stage, those in the advanced exploration stage, and mines in the reclamation stage. PwC has been conducting this annual survey since 1968.
Survey highlights will be presented by:
Michael Cinnamond, Partner and Leader of PwC's BC Mining Industry practice, and
Marianne Carroll, Manager, PwC.
A panel of industry and BC Government representatives will discuss the implications of the survey findings and the outlook for BC's mining industry. Panelists will be:
