MONTREAL, June 1, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The QCGN is pleased to announce that Canadian Heritage Minister Mélanie Joly will be on hand for the 21st annual meeting of members that will take place Friday under the theme "Working Together for Quebec English-Speaking Communities."

The one-day event, which will bring together more than 100 members and stakeholders from across the province, will kick off with a panel entitled Three Commissioners: Helping Preserve and Develop Official Language Minority Communities. For this discussion Graham Fraser, Canada's Commissioner of Official Languages; François Boileau, the French Language Services Commissioner of Ontario; and Katherine d'Entremont, the Commissioner of Official Languages for New Brunswick, will explore the origin and future of these offices. Minister Joly will be speaking to the membership at noon. Following lunch and workshops where we will be exploring ways of working together effectively, members will get down to business during the 21st Annual General Meeting of the QCGN.
