MONTREAL, Sept. 12, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Quebec English School Boards Association (QESBA) and its partners, the Fédération des commissions scolaires du Québec (FCSQ) confirm that their leadership will be meeting with the Premier of Quebec, Pauline Marois and Education Minister Marie Malavoy on Monday morning, September 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the offices of the Ministère de l'Education, du Loisir et du Sport. The meeting follows the Premier's recent public criticism of Quebec school boards regarding school tax issues. QESBA wrote to the Premier last week, deploring her statements and insisting that she act on her stated intention to meet our leadership promptly. The Association is eager to explain and defend the performance of its nine member boards in delivering innovative and quality education to all the students they serve across Quebec. They are doing so while implementing every possible administrative efficiency.
