All four major Quebec provincial parties have confirmed their participation in a historic English-language election debate to be broadcast and live-streamed
MONTREAL, May 15, 2018 /CNW/ - A partnership of leading Quebec media outlets has joined together to produce and broadcast an English Quebec Leaders' Debate in the lead up to the 2018 Quebec provincial election. It will be the first ever televised English-language Quebec election debate.
The English debate, scheduled to take place on Monday, September 17th from 5:30 - 7:00pm at the Maison Radio-Canada in Montreal, will be carried live by CBC Quebec, CJAD 800, City, CTV News, Global News and The Montreal Gazette.
The leaders of the major Quebec provincial parties have confirmed their participation: Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard, Parti Québécois Leader Jean-François Lisée, Coalition Avenir Québec Leader François Legault and Québec Solidaire co-spokesperson Manon Massé.
