MONTRÉAL, July 29, 2016 /CNW/ - Canada Post is not taking key negotiations issues seriously. CUPW is calling on the Liberal government to use its considerable influence to ensure, as its shareholder, that Canada Post is onside with the federal government's objectives to improve pensions, pay equity and the public postal service.

Instead of negotiating with postal workers and using their experience to improve the post office, Canada Post is dragging its heels and sticking to their Conservative-era agenda. It's time to ask the Prime Minister to tell Canada Post to start negotiating now. |
