VANCOUVER, Dec. 20, 2017 /CNW/ - The National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls confirms dates for the following Public Community Hearings to begin the 2018 year:
Yellowknife, NT Public Community Hearing – January 23 to 25, 2018
Rankin Inlet, NU Public Community Hearing – February 20 to 22, 2018
The public community hearings may also include sharing circle testimonies and artistic expression panels; there will be statement gatherers on site for those who decide to register during the hearing. Scheduling runs from 9 am through 5 pm in the location's time zone. Full details of each hearing will be provided to the public in early January 2018.
Media are invited to the public hearings. All media that want to participate must RSVP, by completing an accreditation form and emailing it to the media email account: [email protected].
