VANCOUVER, Sept. 11, 2012 /CNW/ - Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (NYSE andTSX: RBA) will be selling a 1983 Excalibur collector car and other unique items during a live charity auction on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. This public charity auction is being held in conjunction with the Company's third annual Corporate Kids Challenge, with all proceeds from the auction and the event going to KidSport BC™, which raises funds to help underprivileged kids participate in organized sports throughout BC. All items in the public auction will be sold unreserved—meaning every item is sold to the highest bidder, regardless of price—without minimum bids or reserve prices. The 1983 Excalibur car is a two door convertible appraised at $50,000. Featuring a French Vanilla finish with two-tone brown pinstripe accent, this vintage collector car sports a GMC 305 CID V8 engine and is in good original condition.
